Hi, I received my order yesterday and this is my feedback :
- the plants were well packed : Very good point +2
- The Paphiopedilum was in bloom and the flower is intact : +1
- The Phal. Mituo was delivered with 1 spike (+1) but the pot was really too large for the roots: I repotted it
- The Bronze Maiden was delivered with the original moss and was ok : +1
- The Speciosa was delivered with several spikes: 3 old ones which are ready to rebloom and 2 new ones ready to bloom, so I was pleased BUT then I realized that the plant was not stable in the pot. And I discovered that the roots were only aerial ones, with no roots in the pot. Actually there are more spikes than roots... I decided to repot and I buried the aerial roots, but I am wondering whether it is necessary to cut all the spikes to give a chance to the orchid to have more roots rapidly... -2
- Regarding the Javanica, when I unpacked the plant, the orchid "jumped" out of the pot and landed on my knees ! The roots were very weak and very few (5) and I have to cut half of them because they were rotten. I repotted the orchid in moss and I hope that it will recover rapidly.
In conclusion, it was my first experience with your store. I decided to order because I saw a lot of good feedback and you have a lot of choice for reasonable prices.
Before re-ordering, I do want to wait and see how the Speciosa and the Javanica will behave in the coming weeks.
I did really hesitate to take the pictures and send you back the plants but I wanted to give them a chance to survive.
I would appreciate your comments and recommendations now.
I hope that I could order again rapidly as I saw so many nice phaelonopsis in your store.
